Student attendance is important for academic success
Happening at BOES
Starting with the 2024-2025 school year, parents are expected to report their student's absence online for EACH day that their child is absent. Doctor's notes may also be uploaded on this form, and a reason for the absence must also be reported. Please contact the main office at (804) 780-4879 with any questions that you may have.
SMILE VA will be at Obama ES on Friday, October 4th, 2024. If your child needs to see a dentist, appointments can be made at www.myschooldentist.com. Additionally, registration forms went home last week. Please contact our school nurse, Mrs. Howell, for more information.
Barack Obama Elementary School is a uniform school for students on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. New this year, students may now wear a combination of blue, white AND khaki on those days. Please contact the office with questions at 804-780-4879
