PM Update
Good afternoon, Obama Community,
I’m writing to share our Tuesday afternoon progress update on facility remediation, air quality testing, and transportation details for the remainder of the week.
FACILITIES UPDATES
Remediation & Testing: Additional remediation for Room 304 and the main office suite was completed earlier today. Final air quality testing for these two remaining spaces will take place tomorrow morning, and we will share the results as soon as they are available.
Air Quality Test Results: You can view our most recent test reports (attached), which confirm that Room 304 and the office suite are the only areas awaiting final clearance.
Climate Control: Relative humidity remains low throughout the building (between 37% and 56% this afternoon), with temperatures ranging between 71°F and 76°F. We have asked teachers to lower window blinds—which were raised during deep cleaning—to help bring indoor temperatures down further.
Restroom Access: Single-occupancy bathrooms remain turned off and sealed at the entrances to prevent accidental use while we ensure there are no active leaks in the building.
TRANSPORTATION & SCHEDULE
Wednesday (Pine Camp): No changes. Student enrichment and bus routes will continue following the normal Pine Camp schedule through Wednesday.
Thursday (Obama ES): Transportation will officially revert to regular, standard bus routes on Thursday morning for the return to Obama Elementary School!
We are deeply grateful for your ongoing flexibility and partnership during these final steps. I can’t wait to see our Obama Stars on Thursday!
With great appreciation,
Jason
